This page explains what data Old Folk Remedies collects, where it is stored, and how it is used. The short version: almost nothing leaves your device.
No accounts, no health data
Old Folk Remedies has no sign-up, no login, and no contact forms. We do not ask for, collect, or store any health information about you, and we never build any profile of your health. The only thing we keep on your device is a small preference flag (for example, remembering that you dismissed the site notice), stored in your browser's local storage and never transmitted anywhere.
Cookies & analytics
Old Folk Remedies itself does not set marketing or advertising cookies. We may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for anonymous, aggregate usage measurement — page views, traffic sources and similar metrics. GA4 may set its own cookies and anonymises your IP address before processing. Third-party services embedded on the site, such as Google Fonts and Amazon Associates links, may also set cookies on the domains they serve. You can opt out using your browser's privacy settings or analytics-blocking extensions.
Amazon Associates
Old Folk Remedies participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click a product link and make a purchase on Amazon, Amazon may share certain information with us (such as the fact that a purchase was made) for commission tracking. We do not receive your personal information, payment details, or order specifics. See the Affiliate Disclosure for more.
External links
This site contains links to external websites (primarily Amazon.com). We have no control over the content, privacy policies or practices of third-party sites. Once you leave Old Folk Remedies via a link, you are subject to that site's own privacy policy and terms.
